Peace Talks With North Korea Great Victory for U.S.!

Today’s beginning of peace talks between the U.S. and North Korea greatly reduces the threat of “accidental” war between these two nuclear powers, who have no fundamental conflict. My heartfelt personal thanks to President Donald Trump, who has cut through all the military-industrial efforts to keep an outdated conflict going for economic reasons.
President Trump’s gleeful announcement that the U.S. would end military exercises around North Korea, which would “save a lot of money,” should be backed up by an Industrial Conversion Commission to convert obsolete military jobs to making U.S. roads and bridges. I think he should be praised and encouraged in this direction.
Looking at pictures of Trump and Kim, I believe I’m seeing the redemptive power of love, which I think is the force that so far has prevented nuclear war. Now this real de-escalation of nuclear confrontation reduces the danger of nuclear war. I’m thanking all the peace activists who have prayed, meditated, written and acted for peace and nonviolence.
